Introduction from Neil McGuigan Australian Vintage has always focused on delivering excellent quality and consumer friendly wines to the world. We also recognise the opportunity to capitalise on this and continue to evolve our wines as our consumers expand their palate. 2010 was another highly successful year for Australian Vintage on the back of our “International Winemaker of the Year” and “International White Winemaker of the Year” achievements in 2009. Not only are we reaping success in the wine show circuit but our quest to deliver on our quality and excellence proposition at every price point has enabled our Black Label Red to be the number one selling branded red wine in Australia. My commitment to the business and our trade partners is to ensure that we focus on driving a relevant, sustainable and profitable branded portfolio. A key component to this is remaining relevant with our consumers and ensuring our focus is always on the end product – the wine. Central to everyone who works in Australian Vintage is a love of wine and I hope this passion comes through in every bottle we produce. We are a wine culture company and our focus is to ensure everything we do enhances the consumer’s experience when they drink a bottle of our wine. Boasting six dynamic and award-winning wine brands the Australian Vintage portfolio includes McGuigan, Nepenthe, Tempus Two, Miranda, Passion Pop and Yaldara. Each consistently proving its versatility and ability to create a quality cross section of wines from easy drinking varieties right through to ultra premium offerings. Crushing approximately nine percent of total Australian annual production, our vineyards and grape supply capacity extends through some of Australia’s most captivating and diverse wine regions including the Hunter and Barossa Valleys; Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek and Limestone Coast regions as well as the Murray Darling. It’s a fresh, crisp wine displaying lime and floral flavours with nice intensity and great length. A wine with impressive ageing ability. Available in current vintage and aged release. Chardonnay Adelaide Hills SA This chardonnay represents the pinnacle of Adelaide Hills fruit. It displays melon and stone fruit flavours with a delicate infusion of spicy oak. Cabernet Sauvignon Coonawarra, SA The Coonawarra is a region famous for producing the highest quality Australian cabernet sauvignon. We have developed this wine true to that style with rich blackcurrant and choc mint flavours and a soft tannin structure. GSM Barossa Valley, SA To create the ultimate wine out of these three varieties each component was individually tasted and blended. The result is a generous spicy style red wine with luscious red berry flavours, hints of chocolate, anise and toasty oak from barrel maturation. Chardonnay CabernetSauvignon GSM Shiraz Shiraz Barossa Valley SA This is a well structured, full-bodied wine typical of the great Barossa Valley shiraz. It has rich blackberry and plum flavours with a hint of liquorice and oak with a long, seamless finish. 6

The terrior delivers wonderful varietal flavours with a slightly savoury style that truly delivers a showcase wine. Shiraz Langhorne Creek, SA Sourced from Langhorne Creek in South Australia this wine is packed full of chocolate and cherry flavours with a long, velvety tannin finish. The fruit was picked at full ripeness off low yielding vines to ensure great flavour and acid retention. The result being a wine with superb classical structure and excellent cellaring potential. McGuigan Farms An iconic wine from our own estate at the McGuigan winery in the Barossa. Shiraz Barossa Valley, SA These wonderful old vines nurture intensely flavoured shiraz grapes epitomising the very best of the Barossa. Each vintage we hand select the best parcel of shiraz grapes ensuring that they meet the exceptional pristine standards required to develop into The Farms.
